Dibba v Dubai, 5.45pm
The second-from-bottom club lag eight points behind Friday night's visitors in the Pro League table with Rene Marsiglia's side having lost their past five matches.
Despite not tasting victory in three rounds since shocking champions Al Ain, Dibba have performed well against some of the division's top clubs.
Last week's narrow defeat to Al Wahda will not have knocked confidence, while Dubai's loss in Ajman will have only deepened their anxieties.
Ajman v Al Dhafra, 5.50pm
"The players are in high spirits and performing well in training ahead of our game against a strong team," said Abdulwahab Abdulqadir, the Ajman coach.
Meanwhile, Laurent Banide, his counterpart at Dhafra, is worried conditions could conspire against his side, saying: "The pitch at Ajman's stadium is not good …
"I have warned my team not to relax as Ajman have a strong attacking threat in Boris Kabi [below] and Founeke Sy."
