Pro League previews: Dibba aim to take advantage of struggling Dubai

Dibba hopes to take advantage of Dubai's current struggles, and Al Dhafra's coach Laurent Banide has warned his players to be prepared for Boris Kabi and Founeke Sy of Ajman.

Dibba v Dubai, 5.45pm

Dubai's current struggles could provide Dibba Al Fujairah the perfect opportunity to gain ground in the battle to avoid relegation.

The second-from-bottom club lag eight points behind Friday night's visitors in the Pro League table with Rene Marsiglia's side having lost their past five matches.

Despite not tasting victory in three rounds since shocking champions Al Ain, Dibba have performed well against some of the division's top clubs.

Last week's narrow defeat to Al Wahda will not have knocked confidence, while Dubai's loss in Ajman will have only deepened their anxieties.

Ajman v Al Dhafra, 5.50pm

Ajman host Al Dhafra on Friday night with sights sets on a fourth victory in a month.

"The players are in high spirits and performing well in training ahead of our game against a strong team," said Abdulwahab Abdulqadir, the Ajman coach.

Meanwhile, Laurent Banide, his counterpart at Dhafra, is worried conditions could conspire against his side, saying: "The pitch at Ajman's stadium is not good

"I have warned my team not to relax as Ajman have a strong attacking threat in Boris Kabi [below] and Founeke Sy."
