Premier League previews: Newcastle's derby date with Sunderland

Queens Park Rangers v Everton

Bottom-of-the-table Queens Park Rangers are still searching for a first win of the season and are on a run of five defeats in six league and cup games. In contrast, David Moyes’s Everton, notorious slow starters, arrive at Loftus Road on top form with 14 points from seven games.

Sunderland v Newcastle United

Newcastle United head for the Stadium of Light today having won only two of their seven league games this season, and struggling to find the form which saw them finish fifth in 2011/12. “We have to get our confidence back,” said midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa. “We have to win consecutive games.”
