Carlos Tevez made news from the moment he moved in 2006/07 to West Ham United, the English Premier League club, from Brazil where he played for the Corinthians. There was controversy regarding who owned rights over the player - his agency or the club.
Matters reached boiling point when Tevez supposedly refused to get up off the bench and warm up to play against Bayern Munich during an Uefa Champions League game in Munich. A furious Mancini said Tevez had to go even though hours later he was seen showin???

Exactly a season later, City's form and fortunes dwindles with the management losing faith in Mancini's ability to win silverware. The Blues lost to Wigan in the FA Cup final to Wigan before the Italian manager was sacked. Tevez's exit also looked likely.???
