Hart prefers to focus on matters on the pitch

Doubts surrounding Portsmouth's financial stability will not distract Paul Hart from the tough task of keeping the club in the Premier League. An attempted takeover by Dubai-based businesman Sulaiman al Fahim is still to be fully completed despite the property tycoon agreeing to buy the club from current owner Sacha Gaydamak almost three months ago. The situation has left Hart, whose side host Fulham today, unable to bring in anyone on a permanent basis and he had to sell prize assets Peter Crouch and Glen Johnson. "I am just concentrating on the football side of things at the moment, that's my job. That's what I'm here for, the finances are for someone else to deal with."
