Can Wigan do it again?

Manchester United may be clutching at straws, but at least Wigan are one of the five teams to have beaten Chelsea in the league this season. It was one of Chelsea's worst displays of the season as Roberto Martinez's Wigan out-muscled and out-played the London club at the DW Stadium in September. The turning point was when, with the score at 1-1, Hugo Rodallega was fouled by Petr Cech, the Chelsea keeper, who was also sent off.

The Colombian picked himself up to convert the resulting penalty and Paul Scharner made it 3-1 in injury time. "It was a bad display. I don't know why we didn't play well," said Carlo Ancelotti, the Chelsea manager, afterwards. Can lightning strike twice? * Thomas Woods
