Hristo Stoichkov, Bulgaria The two-time runner-up for Fifa Player of the Year scored 22 goals in 71 appearances in the MLS for Chicago. John Spencer, Scotland Ex-Chelsea forward fired 37 goals in 88 games for Colorado from 2001 to 2004. Guillermo Barros Schelotto, Argentina In his first full MLS season, the little midfielder led Columbus to the 2008 championship and was the league's MVP as well.
