Pakistan considers Sri Lanka for England series

The Pakistan Cricket Board is considering Sri Lanka as host for its home series against England next year.

Pakistan has not hosted an international side since gunmen attacked the Sri Lanka team bus in Lahore in 2009, killing six police officials and a van driver.

Spokesman Nadeem Sarwar says the PCB has received a feasibility report from Sri Lanka Cricket and it is now waiting for a response from the United Arab Emirates, which is also under consideration.

Since 2009, Pakistan has hosted home series against New Zealand, South Africa and the West Indies in the UAE and also played 'home' test matches against Australia in England last year.
