Geneva airport closes due to heavy snowfall

GENEVA // Geneva airport is closed until at least 2 p.m. (1300 GMT) Wednesday due to heavy snowfall.

Airport spokesman Bertrand Staempfli says there are neither incoming nor outgoing flights at the moment.

Geneva airport is Switzerland's second biggest after Zurich, which is experiencing delays but remains open.
