Yas Marina Circuit sheds 60 jobs in business shake-up
Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management, which manages Yas Marina Circuit, said yesterday it was cutting 60 jobs due to the firm revising its business plan.
The cuts leave the circuit with a staff of 250. "After two full seasons of events and races, the whole business model has evolved and we have a more common business model for 2012," said Peter Rae, the ADMM director of communications.
The 5.5km track is due to host the penultimate race of the F1 season in November and there are other planned smaller events.
