Workers stole iron door from house they were working in
Three workers stole an iron door from a house they were working on and sold it for Dh90, a court heard yesterday.
An Emirati man complained to police that one of three iron doors were stolen from his mother's house as it was undergoing maintenance.
"Mama said she saw you and asked you to return the door," Dr Khairi Al Kabbash, head of Abu Dhabi Appeals Court, told the men as he read from court records. The men, all Bengalis, admitted selling the door. A verdict is due on June 14.
