US student claims he found Spice drug at Ski Dubai
DUBAI // An American student accused of drug possession claimed he found the bag at Ski Dubai, a court heard today.
Anti-narcotics officers arrested MA, 18, at the Antar Cafeteria in Jumeirah in November last year following a tip off and found 1.09 grams of the drug 'Spice' or synthetic cannabis under the rear wheel of his car.
Police officer AR told the Criminal Court that the student told officers he found the drug at Ski Dubai. The officer added that no drugs were found at the student's home.
The student was present in court, but did not enter a plea. A verdict is expected on February 12.
