Underground car park boost for Abu Dhabi motorists

Construction has begun on a three-storey underground car park on Baniyas Street (6th Street) between Al Falah Street (9th Street) and Liwa Street (10th Street).

The Mawaqif-controlled parking area will have 800 spaces, three lifts, CCTV surveillance and parking for drivers with special needs.

The car park will be next to the Ministry of Finance and near the Department of Economic Development.

Green lights will indicate vacant spaces. The facility will include a play area for families, a basketball court and will be completed by the third quarter of 2014.
