DUBAI// Fans of professional American wrestling will be able to meet one of the sport's biggest stars face-to-face during a special event this Friday.
World Wrestling Entertainment superstar Michael 'The Miz' Mizanin will be on hand at the Zayed Sports City International Tennis Complex signing autographs and greeting fans.
The professional wrestler will be in the UAE as part of the build up to a live tour by the WWE in the capital in October.
"Fans that have purchased tickets for the WWE Live shows will have the opportunity to meet The Miz himself and collect an autograph from him," said an announcement from the event promotional news release.
"The Miz will be in market to help promote the upcoming WWE Live tour taking place on October 10, 11 and 12 at the same venue."
The event begins at 4.30pm and access will only be allowed to people who have bought tickets for the live shows.
"Tickets will be available to purchase at the venue," said the statement.
"Proof of purchase will be required to gain entry and only the first 300 people to attend will secure an autograph."
The Miz is among the WWE's most outspoken wrestlers after raising to fame as a reality television star.
He held the WWE championship in 2010.
Among the WWE performers scheduled to take part in the tour are Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.
However the WWE website warns that the lineup is subject to change.
