UAE's Pakistan motorway in fast lane

The National staff

A US$38 million (Dh139.5m) project funded by the UAE to build a motorway in South Waziristan, Pakistan, is one-third of the way through, said the state news agency Wam.

Building began on the 50km road, which will be named after Sheikh Khalifa, the President, in January.
