Motorists in the Western Region are being urged to take extra precautions because of haze, the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology warned yesterday, although road conditions and visibility had improved last night.
Winds made seas rough and those conditions will remain until tonight.
Offshore waves reached 3.65 metres yesterday and winds hit 60kph.
Sailors are advised to check conditions before going to sea.
Temperatures dropped by up to 8 degrees yesterday, with highs of 30°C to 33°C on the coast and 33°C to 38°C inland.
