UAE residents to get short reprieve from blustery weather


DUBAI // Residents will get a short reprieve from unsettled weather conditions before strong winds return later in the week according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).

Sunday is forecast to be sunny with scattered clouds, with temperatures reaching a high of 26°C. At night, temperatures will fall to 16°C. During the day, residents can expect north-northeasterly winds of 11kph with gusts of up to 18kph, which are expected to drop to 8kph winds from the west with gusts of up to 14kph.

Mild foggy conditions are expected during the early hours of the day in parts of the country.

Humidity will reach 85 per cent before dropping down to 30 per cent in the evening.

Sea conditions will improve, with waves of two to four feet, but conditions will get rough again later in the week as strong winds are expected and the NCMS is likely to again issue warnings against going out to sea.
