UAE National Day holidays confirmed

DUBAI// The public sector will have a four-day long weekend for the 41st UAE National Day, while the private sector is expected to have a three-day weekend, said officials.

Government employees will be off work from November 30 to December 3, said the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, which announces holidays for public employees.

"All public companies, banking, federal and local government departments will have two days holidays," said a spokesman for the authority.

"They will be off on December 2 and 3."

The private sector is expected to have December 2 as a holiday, but the Labour Ministry said it will confirm the number of days soon.
