The UAE and three other Gulf nations are among the world's top 10 countries based on the proportion of millionaires in the population, a study has revealed.
Qatar was second, with 14.3 per cent of millionaire households. Kuwait, with 11.8 per cent, came in third on the chart. With one in every 20 households in the millionaire category, the UAE came in sixth.
Bahrain took 10th place with 3.2 per cent. Singapore came top in the report, The Battle to Regain Strength: Global Wealth 2012.
