Hoax bomb scare grounds Etihad flight

Passengers were evacuated from an Etihad Airways flight this afternoon after a couple joked there was a bomb on board. The 1.25pm flight from Abu Dhabi to Damascus was delayed after a man and a woman were overheard making comments before boarding the flight. A full search of the plane was conducted but no devices were found. Both were arrested and are being questioned by Abu Dhabi Police.
