Dubai parking inspectors receive cash for good track record

Twenty parking inspectors have been honoured by the Roads and Transport Authority for their faultless track record in job accuracy, making proposals, attitude, discipline, attendance and willingness to perform their jobs.

The inspectors received cash grants and certificates of appreciation.

There are 3,850 parking machines in 100 paid parking zones in the emirate.

The number of complaints against the service dropped from 1919 in 2011 to 1150 this year according to the authority.
