Dh40m made at 11 used car auctions held by Emirates Transport

DUBAI // Dh40 million was made at 11 used car auctions held by Emirates Transport this year.

The auction centre sold 1,306 used vehicles this year for a 21 per cent surge in profits over 2011.

The centre auctions off their own vehicles, as well the lots supplied by companies and individuals.

Since it was founded in 2008, the centre has held 55 auctions, raising Dh108 million in revenues.

Emirates Transport said any profit made in the sales would be used to upgrade their main fleet of vehicles.
