Tragedy aboard Emirates flight as woman collapses and dies
A woman collapsed and died on an Emirates flight on Friday. The passenger was flying from Dubai to Amsterdam but the aircraft made an emergency landing at Prague's Vaclav Havel Airport, after she collapsed.
An airport spokeswoman said the unidentified woman died despite the efforts of a rescue team.
"Emirates flight EK147 from Dubai to Amsterdam on November 9 diverted to Prague," an airline spokesman said.
"Emirates offers its sincere condolences to the family." The plane continued to Amsterdam later that day.
