Where adrenalin junkies get their rush

DUBAI // Adrenalin junkies can now add a permanent bungee jump to their list of things to do.

The jump, with a freefall of 50 metres from a crane, has been set up by Gravity Zone, a local company that worked with the UK Bungee Club, which has 20 years' experience in the field. Jumpers must be aged 14 or over, and people over 50 require a note from a doctor saying their heart and joints are up to the jump.

A single jump costs Dh339 and a tandem jump is Dh499.

The jump is at Power Play Soccer Centre on Meydan Road and is open on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 6pm.
