Try to stay at least 50 metres away from dolphins.
Move away cautiously if there is any sudden change of behaviour.
Always put the boat engine in neutral when dolphins are nearby.
Do not feed, touch or swim with wild dolphins.
Do not approach from behind or head-on - a parallel approach or slightly to the rear is safer.
Watch out for little ones - mother and calf will be together but the calves are sometimes difficult to spot.
If dolphins approach your vessel: either place the engine in neutral and let them approach, slow down and continue your course, or steer clear.
