Three airlifted to Abu Dhabi hospital after being hurt in road accidents


Three people were airlifted to Al Rahba Hospital by the Abu Dhabi Air Wing after two separate traffic accidents at the weekend.

In the first incident, in Suwaihan, an Emirati, 24, suffered a fractured right foot and bruises to his body.

The second case involved two Asians, aged 21 and 42, who sustained severe head, chest and stomach injuries and had difficulty breathing after a crash on the Al Raha Beach road.

In both cases, an air ambulance with paramedics and medical equipment on board was dispatched by the operations team after receiving an emergency call and the injured airlifted to hospital.
