Thousands of illegal domestic staff arrested

More than 65,000 illegal domestic workers were arrested last year, Brig Saeed Rakan Al Rashdi, the director of the illegal migrants follow-up division at the Ministry of Interior, told Al Ittihad.

Employing an illegal migrant carries a sentence of two months in prison and a fine of Dh100,000.
