Shop until midnight at all Dubai malls

DUBAI // Shopping centres across the emirate will remain open from 10am until midnight, seven days a week in an effort to boost the retail industry, the Dubai Department of Economic Development announced today.

Restaurants inside these shopping centres will also stay open until as late as 1am, and may apply for extra hours if they need them.

Laila Bint Suhail, the chief executive of Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment, said the move would help increase sales and give shoppers more time for fun.
