Sharjah woman plunges to her death from 35th floor
ABU DHABI // Relatives of a 28-year-old woman who fell to her death from the 35th floor of a building in Sharjah on Monday are being questioned by police.
The Arab woman, identified as LA, fell from a building in Al Nahda at about 7am on Monday and died instantly, police said.
Criminal investigation experts responded to the scene, cordoned off the area to collect fingerprints and take documentary photographs.
An investigation is under way to determine whether there was foul play or if the woman had fallen or jumped to her death.
The public prosecutor has ordered the transfer of the woman's body to the medical examiner's laboratory.
