Sharjah Ruler announces benefits for low-income Emiratis

Lower-income nationals from Sharjah are to benefit from a social insurance plan that was announced this week by the Ruler of the emirate.

Interviewed on Al Khat Al Mubasher, a local talk show, Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed said the move would help people who required medical help but did not have the means to finance it.

The Ruler also announced plans to build an autism centre, and to award a plot of land to those nationals who had yet to receive one.
