Seven die in Dubai collision

DUBAI: Seven people died and eleven were injured when a minibus collided with a car early this morning on the Dubai-Al Ain road. The minibus, carrying construction workers, collided with a car in which three Emiratis, one a woman, were travelling. Six of those in the minibus died on the scene. The injured were transported to Raschid hospital. Three of those involved in the accident were critically injured and five sustained serious injuries. The Emirati woman, believed to be in her late teens, died in hospital, despite extensive attempts to stabilise her condition. Nadi Sabr Nadi Sabr, a representitive of Al Qutbi, the company the labourers worked for, said the men came from Egypt, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.
