Registration for global youth summit opens

ABU DHABI // The One Young World international youth forum is now accepting applications from would-be delegates.

The summit, to be held in the US city of Pittsburgh from October 18-22, will be addressed by Bill Clinton. Counsellours will include Sir Bob Geldof, Rahul Ghandi, Muhammad Yunus, Oscar Morales and Imran Khan as well as Jamie Oliver, Fatima Bhutto, and Arianna Huffington.

More than 1,500 young leaders from 180 countries are expected to meet at the summit to discuss global issues such as global business, health, leadership and transparency.

Last year, seven youths from the UAE attended the summit.
