RAK man found murdered
Ras al Khaimah // The body of an Asian man has been found in Ras al Khaimah after he was apparently stabbed to death while he slept. Police said the 34-year-old, a security guard for a car rental agency, was found in his room near his workplace in the early hours of Wednesday last week, about six hours after he was killed. He was last seen by colleagues on Tuesday afternoon. A colleague found his body and immediately phoned the police.
RAK police said they suspected the victim was murdered while he slept, and had been stabbed five or six times. Detectives have yet to identify a suspect and that no one had been arrested. ykakande@thenational.ae
