Pilgrims told to undergo medical check-up before Mecca journey

The Ministry of Health has urged all Haj pilgrims to make sure they undergo medical checks, in time for the journey to Mecca this year.

As part of the holy mission, every pilgrim must carry a file showing their health status, any existing conditions, any health treatment received during Haj, and the state of health on their return.

Dr Abdul Al Zarooni, the head of the Pilgrimage Medical Committee at the ministry, said it would ensure that every pilgrim stayed safe during the trip.
