Outdoor cinema seating 1,200 to open for ADFF

The upcoming fifth edition of the Abu Dhabi Film Festival has added an open-air screening area at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr that can accommodate an audience of 1,200 people, organisers announced yesterday.

In addition to the new Fairmont venue, which moves the October 13 to 22 festival from its previous centre at Emirates Palace, programming will continue to be offered downtown at Marina Mall's Vox Cinemas and the Abu Dhabi Theatre.

The complete programme for the festival will be announced on September 21.
