More rain expected as temperatures in UAE dip

DUBAI // Rain is expected to continue through the evening while the warning of rough seas remains.

"More rain is expected today, at least until the evening," said a spokesperson at the National Center of Meteorology & Seismology (NCMS).

The low pressure which started since yesterday has caused weather instability and towering clouds over different areas of the UAE.

Rain fell on most parts of the country with the highest rainfall of 21.8 millimetres recorded over Jebal Jais.

Temperatures are expected to be between 16-22 degrees Celsius today.

The warning of the sea state remains until tomorrow due to high winds, and the tides could reach nine feet while wind speeds will be at 60 kilometres pre hour.

However, forecasters said that the weather will be mainly sunny tomorrow as clouds ease gradually.

The temperature is expected to increase slightly tomorrow and will reach 23 degrees Celsius.

Increased humidity is also expected.
