More parking spaces in Tourist Club area

Mawaqif paid parking will be switched on in the capital's Tourist Club on Al Mina road areas.

In the area between Al Mina road, Electra (7th), Al Ferdous and Salam streets, 1,362 paid spaces will be available from 8am until 10pm, Saturday to Thursday.

In the area between the Corniche road, Mina road, Al Ferdous and Salam streets, 178 paid spaces will be available.

Parking will cost Dh2 an hour or Dh15 a day in the standard (black and blue) spaces. Residents can apply for parking permits at Dh800 a year for the first vehicle and Dh1,200 for the second.
