Madonna to perform second MDNA concert in UAE

Second show announced following sell-out of tickets for singer's first UAE performance within hours.

A second UAE Madonna concert has been announced for June 4 at Abu Dhabi's Yas Arena.

The concert date follows the sell-out of 22,000 tickets for her June 3 concert within an hour yesterday.

The tickets for the second concert will go on sale on March 5 at noon at Virgin Megastore outlets and online at thinkflash.ae.

Ticket prices remain the same as the first show, with prices starting at Dh250 for general standing to Dh2,295 for VIP hospitality packages.

A spokesperson from the promoter Flash said Madonna's has become the number one selling show in the region.

The singer's concert in the UAE is part of her MDNA World Tour 2012 to promote her new album.
