Licence plates fetch millions at auction

A recent number plate auction in Dubai earned Dh27 million for the emirate's Roads and Transport Authority.

Licence plate J 14 was the most expensive on the night and sold for Dh2.12m while K 24 went for Dh1.4m.

The next auction is in September.
