Landmarks to light up for National Day celebrations

ABU DHABI // Famous landmarks in the Emirates will light up tomorrow in honour of the 40th National Day celebrations.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain's Al Jahili Fort have promised to host riveting light shows over a five-day period starting tomorrow. The Grand Mosque will feature a half-hour illumination show from November 29 until December 3.

Modest clothing has been advised for those attending the Grand Mosque shows. The mosque shows will begin at 6.30pm. The last show is at 12.45am.

Residents of Al Ain can watch illuminations planned over the same evenings. The 30-minute shows will run from 6.30pm until 11.30pm.

Entrance to both shows is free of charge and open to all ages.
