In pictures: National Geographic ‘Life in Motion’ competition

First prize went to Amri Arfianto from the UAE with an image which captures the essence of Dubai’s on-the-move culture. Amri's photograph will be featured in National Geographic Al Arabiya Magazine and he will receive photography equipment worth US$5000

Firos Syed from Qatar won second place with his photograph of a man riding a cycle through a puddle creating ripples in its wake.
