Illegal driver kills Sharjah pedestrian

The National staff

An Ethiopian pedestrian died in the Darrar area of Sharjah on Sunday when she was hit by a driver without a licence, police said.

The driver, who was driving on the wrong side of the road, fled the scene immediately but police managed to arrest him in less than two hours.
