Emiratis airlifted to Abu Dhabi hospital after car crash
ABU DHABI // Two young Emiratis involved in a car crash in the Western Region have been airlifted to the capital.
The conditions of the pair were deteriorating so they were transferred from Al Sila Hospital, in Al Gharbia, to the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, in Abu Dhabi, the interior ministry said.
A fully equipped air ambulance stationed in the town of Al Sila was dispatched as soon as the case was reported to Abu Dhabi Police's operations room.
Both patients received in-flight medical attention to ensure their conditions remained stable. Their current condition is unknown.
