Abu Dhabi hospital launches women's health initiative

A new women's health initiative at Mafraq Hospital aims to reach 6,000 patients in the coming year.

The programme, called "Ana Rosa", will educate women about breast cancer, offer information on medical screenings, preventative measures and how to stay healthy.

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death for women in Abu Dhabi, according to a news release from the hospital.

The programme will also offer information about cervical cancer and other women's health issues.

Mafraq Hospital launched the initiative yesterday.
