Google joins in UAE party with National Day doodle
Search giant Google this morning joined the country's celebrations to mark its 41st National Day with a dedicated "doodle" on its UAE homepage.
The doodle, in place of the company's famous logo, features four falcons, each of which is carrying a banner which together make up the UAE flag.
Equally, each of the banners features one of the letters that spell out Google.
However, the second "o" in the word Google is depicted as one of the ancient tombs found on Umm Al Nar, a small island off the coast of Abu Dhabi which today is the site of an oil refinery.
