Gold and silver NoL cards to mark a new line
To mark the opening of the Green Line on Friday, the Roads and Transport Authority has made 10,000 commemorative gold and silver NoL cards.
The cards, which can be purchased at all Metro stations, are emblazoned with images of Dubai landmarks such as Emirates Towers and the Burj Khalifa. The colour of the card denotes the class of travel. Both are available for Dh35 and have Dh14 credit on them.
Passengers who buy the gold cards can ride in the train's Gold Class cabin or a standard cabin, but either way will be charged twice as much as those with the silver card, who are allowed to travel only in standard cabins.
