Further rain and high winds expected in UAE today

The Northern Emirates may see rain today, according the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.

The unstable weather that's occurred over recent days will continue today with clouds over the northern and eastern parts of the country, carrying a chance of rain.

Winds will reach 74kph, with gusts of up to 44kph.

The sea will be moderately calm but may turn rough with the arrival of cloud.

Temperatures along the UAE coast will range from daytime highs of 26°C to nighttime lows of 17°C. Inland, it will reach 27°C but will drop to 11°C later tonight. On higher ground it will be cooler, with temperatures reaching 16°C and dropping to 8°C overnight.

Humidity will increase over some internal and coastal areas, increasing the chance of mist.
