Four held for clothes theft


SHARJAH // Police have arrested a Chinese man and three Pakistani men and seized clothes worth more than Dh2 million that had allegedly been stolen from a warehouse.

A Chinese businesswoman lodged a complaint about thefts from a warehouse belonging to her company in Sharjah industrial area 3.

During an investigation, CID officers identified one of the suspects and arrested him at his home in Sharjah.

The suspect admitted to carrying out the theft with the help of two others and the warehouse manager.

They told police they sold the goods on to two men.

Police arrested the buyers and returned the stolen garments and clothes worth Dh2.2 million to the owners of the warehouse.
