Federal court adjourns ex-labour minister's case
The federal court has adjourned the case of a former labour minister to allow his defence team time to prepare its case.
The former minister has been accused of wrongly directing more than Dh450 million of public funds to his ministry in a case dating back to 2005, when he issued a decision that study certificates should be accredited through Emirates Post instead of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The cases have been switching between various courts for more than a year due to legal technicalities. The next hearing is scheduled for June 19.
