Dewa scores world first with green building
DUBAI // The largest government building in the world to ever receive a Platinum Leed-rating for green buildings will open in Al Quoz on Tuesday.
The new Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) building in Al Quoz, dubbed "The Sustainable Building", is also the first government building in the Middle East to receive Platinum Leed-certification.
It will house a customer service centre, a call centre, a water and engineering section, and the control and supervision centre.
