Emiratis killed in head-on collision

Two Emiratis were killed in a head-on collision yesterday on Emirates Road in Ras Al Khaimah.

The younger victim, 23, was travelling to Dubai, when the older victim, 32, who was driving his 4x4 in the wrong lane, caused a head-on crash.

According to Col Abdullah Ali Mankhas, head of the RAK Police's traffic and patrols directorate, the younger victim died instantly, while the older man succumbed to his injuries later in Saqr Hospital.
